Seek God’s Perspective: When we make judgments without having all the information, we often end up embarrassed. When we pre-judge without all the facts, we make assumptions and hurt others.

In Matthew 7, we see that Jesus is challenging the Pharisees’ understanding of the law and urging them to see the law from God’s original intention. When we ask for God’s counsel, consult his word, and see things in light of His truth, it changes our point of view. It also changes how we relate to other people.

From God’s perspective, we have discernment about situations and people. With His strength, we can love even our enemies- without having to shout them down or cancel them.
